October Photoshoot / Part 1

For our October shoot we headed down to Julian, CA.
Julian is a small historic gold mining and apple picking town.
It is the perfect place to get into the Fall spirit and eat a slice of homemade apple pie!

We did our shoot in Julian's old Pioneer Cemetery
where most of the gravestones are from the 1800s.

& Dolls

"The love between children and their dolls is a unique one and often lasts for a whole lifetime. There are dozens of ways that children can identify themselves with their playfellows: dolls are always loyal, are the best listeners and are always there for you. No one else is granted as deep an insight into the soul and the life of a child as they are. It never becomes altogether clear who takes care of whom and who came first."

"In his doll series, Achim Lippoth shows how children merge with their dolls. He was inspired by dogs and their owners, who tend to grow similar over time and adopt specific traits from one another."

Meet the Model: Allison

Spotted Moth: What do you do?

Allison: I'm a graphic design major at CSULB (Cal Sate Long Beach), and I'm currently fishing around for a part time job.



Spotted Moth: Describe your personal style - how do you like to dress?

Allison: I'm a minimalist, style-wise. It's all about comfort, ease, and neutral colors for me. Not much beats a loose fitting top, a nice pair of dark jeans, and a few pretty accessories.





Spotted Moth: What are you favorite items from Spotted Moth?

Allison: I LOVE the candy floss tank, the saddle bag in mushroom brown, the minnie bow bracelet in any color, the abel brown dress, the hot toddy scarf in beige, and the butterscotch blouse!
