Christmas Snacks

Our family does Christmas Eve lunch at my aunt's house and this year Monica and I have been asked to bring the appetizers. We were a little stumped on what to make as everything we thought of was more of a side-dish than an appetizer, so what did we do? We consulted the great Martha Stewart, of course!
Check out these delicious looking recipes she had in store for us and click the links for the how-to.

Left: Warm Fennel-and-Parmesan Dip
Right: Prosciutto-Wrapped Breadsticks

Left: Smoked Salmon Dip with Bagel Chips
Right: Salmon Mousse
(We really love smoked salmon.)

While I can't promise any of those will actually be attempted (we may be too busy and end up having to settle for store-bought goodies), THIS definitely will:

Reindeer Food, Puppy Chow, Muddy Buddies-- whatever you want to call it-- it's our old standby dessert treat. Completely delectable and so easy to make, I've never met a single person that doesn't go crazy for these crunchy bite-size pieces of heaven. If you haven't tried it, you must!

What are your favorite things to cook/bake/eat during the holidays?
